Smart London – Air Quality Monitoring with IoT Big Data

As explained by Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, the air quality of the UK’s vibrant metropolis is threatened by high level of pollutants that come with urban life. Realising this, the Royal borough of Greenwich is working with the GSMA to employ Big Data and Mobile IoT technologies to monitor air quality and reduce people’s exposure to pollutants.
